Many coated bass strings compromise tone in exchange for longevity. Bass players from around the world have sought strings that provide nothing but the purest in tone as well as strings that can hold up to the elements and abuse. Instead, many bass players have found themselves put off by coated strings because they impede upon the tone they've worked so hard to build. Not to mention, bass strings are expensive and replacing them frequently can wreak havoc on one's wallet.
Ernie Ball Coated Slinky bass strings sound and feel just like their non-coated counterparts that have been an industry standard for decades with the longevity that coated strings deliver. Finally, bass players can enjoy a coated string that doesn't compromise their tone.
Ernie Ball Coated Slinky bass strings are highly praised and preferred by our staff. Give them a try today and experience them for yourself. We are nearly certain you'll enjoy them as much as we do!
