This is a great old Sears catalog guitar! I've got it strung up with flat-wound stings right now and it's the perfect guitar for crunchy midrange power chords. The instrument is solid and sturdy and the pickup sounds great. A previous owner has stenciled a lovely little shooting star on it that I think adds to its vibe. I've had this guitar for years and will be sore to see it go, but happy if it finds a home where it's played more often!
