HiTop #447 is a matte black Tele-style rocker featuring my handwound Type9 HB and classic Tele bridge pickups, with the addition of a passive piezo under the bridge. It does what you would think it should and you can play any style of music with this guitar.
The neck is maple with a scarfed cherry head and wenge fretboard , a dual action trussrod - 25-1/2” scale, 12” radius, 23- Jescar 47104 nickel frets, Delrin nut at 1-11/16” and Hipshot locking tuners. The carve is a medium C profile (.84 - .90) … very comfortable and normal feeling with low and easy action.
The body is Spanish Cedar ash with gentle contours; matte poly black on top and satin Danish oil over the back and neck. It has Bournes pots and a standard chromed steel Tele-style bridge - the whole guitar comes in at 6lbs 8oz.
