This is taken off an 80s-90s Sonor Sonic or similar set of the era.
Diameter is the older size of 7/8” or 15/16” it is not the newer 1” thicker diameter.
I had used this on an S Class Maple set briefly as the diameter was the same but it was too tall to get the tom down to a normal height relative to the height of the bass drum mount. So 1” had been neatly cut off smoothly with a pipe cutter. It could be welded back if desired so I kept the piece
