Crate BV150 2005

Up for grabs is an amp tech owned BV150.

As I was told by the seller: the amp had less high gain as compared to other voodoo amps that he had heard. Undaunted, he experimented with new power tubes and mixed preamp tubes until he was satisfied with the gain and output. He had it for 10 years. This is how he left it. I can personally testify to the robust gain of this amp as compared to other voodoos.
100% clean, no blemishes, all pots and inputs are deoxit'd, tube rings have been installed on all tubes and the original tube shields have also been upgraded with new silicone O-rings. If you would want to re-install them, I will be shipping them with the amp in a small container.
Not many people are willing to ship these. Voodoo 150s and 300s are built like tanks. They are heavy. There are 2 massive transformers inside this colossus.
It has 3 channels & all three have their own unique mid sweep range selector and EQ. There is also presence and resonance in the power section. I don't even use a noise gate with these amps. Mesa boogies need an overdrive to match these.
This amp was designed to shred. Reverb, delay, noise gate can all be put in the effects loop which has its own level control and its footswitchable so it can be turned off instantly when switching back to the third channel.

This voodoo also features Amber LEDs and a mirror that make it look pretty amazing inside.

The resonance and presence controls on the voodoos are unbeatable and I haven't found an amp yet that has a preamp as good as this (except maybe the stealth) and with the right pedals in the effects loop you can get holy grail tones. You'll never want to sell it. It will be your main amp.

People are learning about the tone that these have and their scarcity. Demand is only going up on them but I'm not sure there are very many more out there on the market, it might be a while before I can find another.
