1973 Marshall Super Lead

New Mercury Magnetics transformer

Has master volume in place of polarity switch, so you can push the preamps wherever you like and hear the gain at any volume. For an amp this powerful, this ability opens up a ton of tone-shaping possibilities that wouldn’t be possible with a stock setup.

It sounds mean as hell when it needs to and, if you can bring yourself to turn your volume knob down on your guitar, it cleans up beautifully.

I have it paired with a late 70’s 1982B cab with Blackback G12H’s and it’s an absolute monster!
Complete half stack for $6000

Simply put, this thing rules!
