New Perspectives Music Apeiron Fretless Bass - Rethinking the Fretless

I set out to rethink the fretless bass. A few variations later and here is Apeiron no 7, v3.5 - definitely the best and probably final production design. Watch the video to learn more and hear it!

I wanted to make a bass that was super stripped down and simple with an "infinite" fingerboard, like a tree branch with strings. There's a whole video series about it at youtube.com/timsway

The latest version features a 32" scale with 30+ positions, a hidden EMG 35JAX active pickup. It still has the integrated nut and wood bridge but the bridge is now height adjustable. (If the integrated nut really bums you out, you or a luthier could easily cut a slot for a traditional nut).

This bass is different than everything you've ever played and will inspire you to play differently.
