(Same description for both listings — I have two of these for sale currently. Same condition, same price.)
Loved having these as primary oscillators. Classic tones, no matter how you patch it. These don’t stay on the used market for long, and for good reason — In my opinion, this is the definitive oscillator for achieving that sound in eurorack — for the working synthesist, that is (I couldn’t care less about about the snobbery at that other end of the market)
I won’t get into all of the specifics, straightforward layout with the usual suspects. Sharktooth wave on tap Triangle, saw, and a square (with PWM) It’s a VCO based on the original MiniMoog oscillator structure (all discrete transistors) — aka the one that had wild pitch drift, but also the one that people seem to like the most. AJH reworked the design for temp stability and efficiency (among the obvious reasons you’d want to implement some improvements on a 45 year-old circuit) Hard-Sync, VC-LFO mode etc. All the details are on their website if you need to dig deeper.
Comes in the original box with the ribbon cable and four knurlies In excellent condition, see photos for any minor scuffs that I tried to highlight. No real rack rash, just marks from knurlies that were screwed a lil’ too tight. There could be a scratch or two on the panel that I’m not seeing. I babied them, though — so I doubt it.
Only ever used in a smoke-free, pet-free, sin-free working environment. Lightly removed any dust and fingerprints before listing. No issues to report whatsoever, very clean and fully calibrated. Ready to rip through your system.
