For sale we have a 2007 ESP GL-56 George Lynch Signature Electric Guitar in Distressed Two-Tone Burst. This guitar features an Alder body, and a maple neck and fretboard. It has been modified, so the original pickups were switched out for Suhr pickups and the original white pickguard was switched for a tortoise shell pickguard. Also the original bridge saddles and string tree were swapped for graph tech parts (the original saddles are included in the case). This guitar is in excellent condition, and it comes pre-distressed so even if it had any sort of blemish you really wouldn't notice.
This guitar was based on George Lynch's personal 1956 Fender Stratocaster. He had done the classic 80's trope and ripped out the bridge single coil and threw in a humbucker to get the sound everyone was chasing back then and still now. ESP then made Lynch his own personal version of it for everyone to have since the design was uncanny.
This guitar is the sleeper of all shred guitars. From the front is looks like a completely normal stratocaster relic, but the moment you get it in your hands is the game changer. This guitar has a very slim C shaped neck for playing as fast as you can all over the fretboard. The pickups that were swapped into this guitar seem to be a bit hotter than the original set of pickups which seems to fit this guitar better. It handles gain really nicely and just screams with the most pure sonic tone anyone could ever want. This is a guitar for everyone though. It may be a shredder at heart, but it was really made to be a guitar for everyone. Being that it is a strat layout and a HSS configuration, this can do any style you throw at it. You can do blues, hard rock, metal. This is YOUR next utility knife of a guitar, suited for any rig and any player. Did I also mention that this guitar is not made anymore?? Don't sleep on an absolute collector's item for a sweet price!
