I have a mid nineties (1995) MIJ ESP Eclipse for sale that has definitely been played. The body has accumulated several chips and large dings on the body in its almost 30 years on earth, including a large chip on the lower horn and several on the outside of the body. The neck is in much better cosmetic shape. Original pickups and hardware have been replaced with a new set of EMG 81/85 pickups and new Gotoh bridge and tailpiece. Toggle switch has been moved to second volume control.
