This guitar was custom made by Jim Triggs, formerly of Gibson’s Custom, arch top and Mando shops, completed in Jan 2006, signed by Jim and his son Ryan.
The top is spruce with highly figured flamed maple back, rims and neck. Ebony bridge, fretboard and headstock overlay. It's an amber finish, nitro cellulose.
17 inch width. The neck is .85 inch at the first fret.
It’s in near-mint condition and comes with the original TKL case. There is very little play wear, the jumb frets are excellent. There are no dents, dings, scratches. The fit and finish are exquisite.
It has one Seymour Duncan 57 pickup in the neck position, Wes Montgomery style, with one volume and tone, gold hardware. Grover tuners.
It's built like the L5s from the 30s with the exception of the pickup, and it's X-braced.
Additional photos on request (I had difficulty loading photos). I've tried to capture the fit of the neck joint and the guitar's appointments, and will provide any photo you want.
