LTD’s D Series basses have been long favorites of serious players who know that they don’t have to break the bank to get a high-quality neck-thru-body bass instrument. Completely updated for 2020, the new D Series basses — the 4-string D-4, 5-string D-5, and 6-string D-6 — offer a 7-piece maple/jatoba neck on a mahogany body with a sumptuous burled poplar top in Black Natural Burst Satin finish. The D Series basses come with great-sounding ESP Designed SB-4, SB-4, or SB-6 passive pickups with ABQ-3 3-band active EQ for tone sculpting. They also include Grover tuners and high-quality LTD bridges.
