Vintage 1970s Hayman 3030 Electric Guitar

The guitar shows signs of its age with some finish cracks and dents, but is still in great playing condition. See pictures for full cosmetic details.

Serial: 690874

Weight: 7lbs 9oz

This rare vintage gem has some pretty cool history behind it. Here is the short story: A collaborative effort between Jim Burns (aka the Leo Fender of England) and Bob Pearson, a former Vox employee, the Hayman 3030 was designed for England's Dallas Arbiter and manufactured by Shergold Guitars. It features a solid, one-piece Obeche African hardwood body, coupled to a medium-thin one-piece Maple neck with black binding. Original Re-An humbucking pickups, mounted in a really cool smoke-colored plexi pickguard. It's controls are super simple: 1 volume / 1 tone / 3-way switch. It has a string-thru fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles, and its tuners are Grovers. These pickups have a nice, clean frequency response, but a somewhat restrained personality. The feel is distinctly different from American designs. The 3030H was produced for less than a year.
