If you’re not familiar with Reuben Cox at Old Style Guitar Shop in LA, he has been converting cheaper guitars into wonderful sounding instruments with a unique rubber bridge, which creates a plunked sound with no sustain that sounds great electrified. Jeff Tweedy, Phoebe Bridgers, and Jackson Browne are among his clients.
This one was set up at Old Style and has a dual hot rail mag and piezo pickup setup, just sounds wonderful through an amp. There’s a long wait list for one of these. Added decal free of charge.
