This is an early Hagstrom guitar refinished. Advertised as the fastest neck you could buy.Specifications Futurama/ Kent III, 1963-1966 Solid body without beveled edges (no acrylic front), pick guard with three adjustable pick ups, one volume control and six slide switches. Known colors: red and blue. Body of solid wood (maybe Abachi), birch neck, teak fretboard, 22 frets, scale length 622mm (24 1/2 inches), bolt-on neck, three single coil pickups, six slide switches. This guitar was found stripped to bare wood. I had it refinished. There was less distinction between batches, and what "should be" a Kent may well be a Futurama, but there are many overlaps in models. This guitar came with the original fixed teak bridge, that is embedded with eight sections of fret wire as saddle. The strings attach to the Hagstrom Tremar unit. Missing 1 fret wire & marker at 19 fret. Plays very well w low action. Very light!! Comes with period correct card case
Looks like the model used by Bowie in pic. He always did like different stuff. Beautiful Dark brown semi-gloss refinish.
