About This Listing
Up for sale is a great condition Pearl CE-22 Chorus Ensemble. Truly a unique Analog Chorus and Vibrato Pedal which I believe was made to be a take on the Boss CE-1 It has unique features and I'll try to explain here: 1. When the Vibe. Delay knob is all the way counter clockwise (You'll hear a click) the left foot switch activates the pedal in which the chorus rate I is operational and when you press on the right foot switch, it changes to the vibrato channel. 2. When you open the Vib. Delay knob the left footswitch activates the pedal and the chorus rate II is operational instead of the chorus rate I and the right footswitch is now a momentary switch which while pressed changes to the vibrato mode and the Vib. Delay controls how much time does it need to reach to vibrato from chorus. Please note that once you open the
Vib. Delay knob, the right LED will remain on even if you deactivate the pedal. 3. The pedal has a preamp circuit (Like the CE-1) and it's controlled by the Input knob on the left. Please note that the preamp circuit is always on, even if the effect is off (I think the unity gain is around 7). 4. It has Stereo Option and even Foot switch input (But I don't have one).
In great condition both technically and cosmetically. Please remember that it's not a dead quiet. Also, the chorus doesn't get widely fast even in extreme setting, I thing the original Boss CE-1 also didn't. Works on 18V power supply. Will be sent well packed and with tracking and insurance.
