Ovation Applause AA14-4 1970s Natural finish, bronze frets set in aluminum fingerboard

This is a WONDERFUL player, -with great sound. There are only a few finish cracks (and I've never seen one of these that didn't have any unless they were stored in completely humidity- and temperature-controlled conditions). I'm going to have to investigate better to pin down date of manufacture, but this has set bronze frets, not the cast-in-place ones of the very early production runs, and I'm not sure when Kaman went with them out of the factory, but as I've seen these done after the fact by good shops with great success, simply can't tell whether these frets are OEM or not. Anyone who can steer me right on this, thanks in advance.
