Very well kept and rare, '78 TOKAI SPRINGY SOUND STRATOCASTER ST 80. This was Tokai's 54 Stratocaster copy and super ones they were! Fender never sued Tokai as many believe, the 2 companies actually came to an agreement where Tokai would supply Fender Japan with parts and would change the shape of their headstocks. Beautiful wood grain finish on this one, "80" engrave in the last fret near the butt of neck (see pics). E stamp pickups, comes with the case pictured, original all the way, arm in the case. V neck, heavier ash body. This guitar has a few slight mark, it ain't perfect or mint, you have to look hard to find anything! Beautiful shape for a 40 year old instrument!
