Serial No. 252106, weight = 8 pounds 3 ounces. Includes original Hamer logo hardshell case. Hamer USA's best single cut offering, brilliantly crafted and a stunning performer.
A gorgeous Monaco Elite from the fabled Conn. shop, built in the early 2000s. It has a beautiful top grade flame maple top and mahogany body and Hamer's medium C neck. This guitar has been played but not abused. It does have some minor scuffs and dings, but all quite minor. The guitar was formerly owned by Troy MacCubbin of Guitar Wank podcast fame. The pickups have been changed to Lollar Imperial Low Winds for a much improved sound. It does the best classic LP sound perfectly and with a build and material level superior to Custom Shop models. Hamer was the very 1st "boutique" builder and they did not cut corners.
24 75" scale, 22 medium frets. Hamer necks are notoriously STRAIGHT.
Body- Carved highly flamed maple top on Honduran Mahogany body.
Neck-body joint- Hamer's exclusive "exaggerated" Dovetail = 25% more wood to wood contact than a typical tenon joint.
Inlays- Mother of Pearl Victory fingerboard inlays, Peghead logo inlay
Bindings- Grained Italian Ivoroid (gorgeous)
