DESCRIPTION

The OKKO FX Diablo Dual is a dual channel analogue overdrive for guitar and bass, delivering expressive, amp-like drive from clean boost through to rich mid gain tones. Based on the original Diablo circuit, the Dual version adds a fully independent second channel, making it ideal for players who need two distinct drive sounds ready to switch instantly.

It offers super clear, chimey yet punchy tones with tight low end and strong mids. Unlike many overdrives, it pairs exceptionally well with clean amps, enhancing clarity and harmonic detail without masking the amplifier’s character. It works equally well with single coils, humbuckers and bass pickups, maintaining note definition across the fretboard.

A key feature is the adjustable internal headroom via the DYN control, allowing the feel to move from more compressed and gritty to tighter, punchier and more open. The pedal responds closely to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes, making it intuitive and musical in use.

Each channel includes independent Gain and Level controls, while shared controls provide deep tonal shaping. FEED adjusts low frequency content into the gain stage for tight or fuller response, BODY adds bass and low mids while altering gain structure, INPUT offers three sensitivity settings to match different guitars, and MIDS shifts the tone focus to suit various amplifiers.

Built with high quality components in a robust all metal enclosure, the Diablo Dual features distinctive orange and black graphics, a unique LED power indicator, true bypass switching and side mounted jacks for efficient pedalboard layout.

CONTROLS

• RIGHT FOOTSWITCH: Engages and bypasses the pedal
• LEFT FOOTSWITCH: Selects between Channel 1 and Channel 2
• GAIN: Sets drive intensity from clean boost to rich mid gain
• LEVEL: Adjusts output volume per channel for balance or boost
• DYN: Adjusts internal voltage 6–18V for headroom, punch and compression
• FEED: Controls low frequencies into gain stage for tightness and clarity
• BODY: Adds bass and low mids, altering thickness and gain character
• INPUT: Three way switch matches input sensitivity to different pickups
• MIDS: Shifts tone control frequency to suit different amplifiers
