Pioneer SA-930 Integrated Amplifier (2)
1 capacitor replaced 100uf 63 volt. This capacitor appeared to be heat damaged from close proximity to a power resistor.
All switches and potentiometers cleaned and lubricated. Receiver unit was cleaned (blown out with compressed air to remove dust and debris). Receiver works great including the L.E.D. power display meter (see photos for more details)
A few bulbs are no longer working (Tape 2/Adapter, and the green function selector lights for Tuner, and Aux/Video) these bulbs are difficult to replace (poor design) and not worth the added time/labor and have no impact on the receiver's performance.
Weak points on these designs were perhaps the sliding volume controls and Pioneer's switch to cheaper cosmetics and buttons (more plastic) but sonically they are nice sounding amplifiers for the money.
