I made this pedal to eliminate the need for a cumbersome Y cable on my Parker guitar rig, but it will work with any guitar.
The input is switchable from TS to TRS just to add flexibility to the pedal. It was created specifically for a TRS input, but it never hurts to have options.
In TS mode, you can use this pedal to run a standard 1/4" TS signal into two amps without needing a DI box or hum eliminator to lift the ground. The isolated output runs through a Jensen isolation transformer, and eliminates all ground loop issues. The direct output runs through the pedal completely unaffected.
In TRS mode, the Tip signal, which is your normal passive pickups on a Parker, goes through the direct output which can be run directly into your rig. The Ring signal, which is the piezo signal on a Parker, runs through the isolated circuit, which can be run into a PA, acoustic amp, or however you want to run your piezo acoustic signal.
The beauty is that you can just run a 1/4" TRS cable out of your guitar. If you've ever played a guitar with a TRS output jack / piezo system you will appreciate the simplicity
Free local pickup!!
