This Troy Post neck thru has been totally refurbished (see last 3 pics!)
It features a maple/mahogany body/neck with a 24 fret ebony fretboard w/ 16” Radius the frets have hardy any wear and it plays like butter Tru oil finish, brass hardtail bridge and hardware, Gotoh tuners and schaller strap locks The brass string ferrules in the back were kept in for looks even though they are not being used
All the old electronics and hardware were removed and replaced and electronic shielding was added
A Waldo Buffer (Waldotronics) was installed along with Dimarzio SDS1 (neck) and two Dimarzio Super 2s (middle and bridge). Coil splits for the two HBs. The Super 2s have the rare blacked out covers on them which Jerry had in Tiger for a short time in the 80s. Everything is wired to the same spec as Jerry’s original Tiger guitar.
As a bonus, if you increase the gain on the Waldo Buffer by 1.7db you are now accessing Wolf tones - so this is like having a versatile Jerry tone machine that can navigate several eras
The guitar is also wired with an OBEL (on board Effects loop) which allows you to dial In Mutron and distortion tones accurately and precisely even with the volume rolled back on the guitar
The guitar has been tested for a period of time and it plays and sounds great. Action is nice and low and intonation is spot on.
The guitar comes with a tweed/red velvet hard shell case as shown in pics
