So as you guessed, this is definitely for the fan/collector. This is Ryan Martinie's (from Mudvayne) personal Thumb bass that he got new in 2001 and used through much of the Mudvayne days. It's the 'Dig' bass, as in when that song was called, this bass was strapped on. Numerous pics are out there with him using this bass. (will link a few below). It has some wear as it has been worldwide. Some special things, nut is aluminum and custom. Fretboard is ebony and frets are nickel. All creating a certain look for it. It also weighs 9 lbs 6 oz. For a thumb, that is pretty awesome. Action is set right where Ryan likes it, a little higher and he uses a different tuning. Obviously it can be set up however, but it'll come as he uses it.
A letter of authenticity will come with this, along with a Warwick Rock Case. Also, if you want to travel to NC, a meeting can be arranged. So if you are a huge Mudvayne fan, it doesn't get much better than this!
