Early 70's Yamaki Model AY 271 S.
000 body style with Solid Cedar Top and Mahogany back and sides, rosewood fret board.
Excellent players guitar with usual nicks and dents (see photos) but no: cracks, seam separations, binding loss. wood shrinkage or bracing separation.
All original and working great. Action at the 12th high 3 mm. low 2.5 mm.
Scale: 25.5 in
Nut: 1 11/16th in
This Model has a bound top and back with purfling on top.
Yamaki's are well regarded, well made guitars from Japan (see reverb article).
The 000 body style is harder to find and the S (indicating solid top) models even more so.
Comes with non original hard shell case.
