About This Listing

Incredible quality in this tribute to the venerable Martin D41.  Yazuo Momose is well regarded as one of the premier luthiers in Matsumoku Japan.  The Headway brand was started in 1977 and their reputation for quality and workmanship is well known throughout the industry. Yazuo Said he wanted to make a guitar that would last a lifetime.  HD207 Models are hard to come by in the US.  Most never made it out of Japan.  This beauty sports Rosewood ply back and sides with a solid Spruce top.   The bound rosewood fretboard plays easily and effortlessly up and down the neck with no buzzing.  Check out those meticulously crafted fret ends.  She weighs only 4.5 lb and has the resonant qualities associated with lightweight dreadnoughts.  Definitely a top tier instrument of superior quality.  Excellent clarity, definition, and projection. Action is on the low side at 2.25 mm low E, 1.75mm high E.  Only a few scratches keep this from being mint.  If you've been looking at high-end Martins but are shocked at the prices they're fetching, this may be the solution.  Comes with the cool padded gig bag pictured.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.  Always safely packed and fully insured.
