BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone

The BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone is one of the most recognizable high-gain distortion pedals ever created. Built for players who demand intense saturation, powerful sustain, and extensive control over their sound, the MT-2 provides a massive range of heavy tones in the legendary BOSS compact-pedal format.

The defining strength of the Metal Zone is its powerful three-band EQ with semi-parametric midrange control. Dedicated High and Low controls shape the frequency extremes, while the Middle and Mid Frequency controls allow players to select and boost or cut specific midrange frequencies. This gives the MT-2 tremendous flexibility for sculpting everything from tight, scooped rhythm sounds to aggressive, mid-forward lead tones.

With its dual-stage gain circuit, the MT-2 produces thick distortion, strong harmonic content, and impressive sustain. The wide-ranging Distortion control allows players to tailor the amount of saturation for different guitars, amplifiers, tunings, and musical styles.

At Northeast Music Center, we recommend the MT-2 for guitarists who want serious high-gain power combined with far more EQ control than most traditional distortion pedals provide. From hard rock and thrash to modern metal and heavily saturated experimental tones, the Metal Zone offers an enormous amount of sound-shaping capability.

Northeast Music Center proudly offers BOSS effects to musicians looking for dependable performance, powerful tones, and legendary pedalboard durability. Purchase your BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone from Northeast Music Center and discover why this distinctive distortion pedal has remained a fixture on guitarists' pedalboards for decades.
