Vintage CF Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele - circa 1930's
A lot of character in this one. This is a Style 1 Soprano from around the early 1930's from what I can tell. The CF Martin logo stamped on the back of the headstock and the bar frets seem to indicate this approximate date. The simple soundhole inlays and double dots at the 7th fret identify it as a Style 1. This vintage uke plays great and sounds very sweet. Once you get the strings stretched it stays in tune well too.
This little uke has been through it as you can see. There has been some refinishing it appears as well as a few repaired cracks in the back and one active on the top. There is also a small chip out of the edge of the soundhole. Despite these issues from nearly a century of use this thing still has a lot of life left in it. Included with the uke is a newer chipboard case. Because of the known issues we're offering it AS IS.
