Up for sale is a fantastic Fender Bassman 50 amp from about 1972 (based on pot code dates) that has been rehoused in a Fender 75 combo cabinet. The speaker is a brand new Jensen MOD 70, which is a modern version of their C12K model. The amp was purchased from a tech who kept it in good health. Everything runs and sounds fantastic.
Overall, the amp has a good classic Fender tone. Very much mid-forward, unlike the Twin or Super Reverb amps, and takes pedals really well. Give it a little juice, and you have a great Marshall tone that works perfectly for classic rock or blues.
Amp tolex is torn in some places, but the cabinet is in good shape for being from 1980. There is some residue from a sticker on the control panel, but it could easily be cleaned off. The amp also comes with casters making cartage of the amp very easy in and out of gigs. Too much wattage for me, otherwise I would not sell it. I have the original head cabinet, and can replace into that format if preferred.
