Fine Old Master Jerome Bonaparte Squier 1906 Violin 4/4.
A New Consignment has come through the shop this Very Rare Handmade Violin by Jerome Bonaparte Squier. He was known as the American Stradivarius. This violin is Beautiful. Dragons blood on a golden ground. The top varnish looks possibly to have had varnish work. Pins north and south on the back. Very lovely scroll. Huge deep G string. Plays and sounds wonderful! Easy to play string action. It needs a sliver of wood someone has inserted probably an old worn trac if I had to guess. A very desirable piece of American History. Sold as is.
