The machine is in good shape physically save for some scratches marks on the top chrome piece. The machine was working fine until two days ago. Now, when you load a disc, you can hear some whining, and then it reopens. I opened it up to see what the problem was. The loading mechanism is not closing all the way as it appears the belt is slipping. If I press slightly on one of the gears, it finishes loading and works. It looks to me like it just needs a replacement belt. Belts are available on line as well as instructions for how to replace.
