Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A Beautiful 2001 used Gibson ESDT 335 Guitar with Gold Hardware and with original Gibson Plush Hardshell Case...... Wow...what a guitar! I couldn't wait to get this one listed for my customers!
This guitar has some player wear on it but nothing abused..just player wear... It was sold new here in Des Moines and I just scored it...the Dealer remembers the guitar fondly. He said Gibson doesn't make this color any more and the quality is great in these Custom Shop Guitars...
I cannot show the beauty of this guitar from my pics...The top and back are Flamey Maple ...Check those pics..Even better in person.
If it was just beautiful, that would almost be enough to buy this guitar, but it plays great, and sounds wonderful. The Gibson Humbuckers are rich and full of tone...the Gold Hardward sets the Dark Mahogany off beautifully!
Heres some info I found on the net regarding these cool guitars..
Here is what Gibson themselves has to say about the
venerable ES-335 - "History speaks for itself. The ES-335 is one of the
most important guitars of all time. Right from its introduction in 1958 as the
world’s first semi-hollowbody electric guitar it has been a mainstay of players
eager to balance the gorgeous, round, mellow tones perfect for jazz and blues
with the edge and sustain of a full-blooded solidbody.
Today the Gibson Custom Shop creates exacting duplicates
of the ES-335 as it first left the Kalamazoo plant in 1958. That year just 267
were built, but the original vintage 335s grew steadily in popularity, peaking
in 1967 thanks largely to Eric Clapton’s high-profile use of a cherry ES-335 in
the band Cream. " From Gibson.com
This 2001 ESDT-335 features a beautiful Dark Mahogany
finish and with a single-ply bound maple body this guitar does bare
a familiar vintage look. Some of the fine appointments on this Gibson
Custom Shop ES-335 are a Rosewood fretboard, Gold Hardware, Grover Tuners with
Tulip Buttons, 57 Classic humbucking pickups, two volume pots, two tone pots,
and a three-way pickup selector switch.

What a player. Excellent action and the neck is dead straight. Plays like a dream. Very very cool sounds coaxed from the beautiful guitar.
Sold as-is as its used, however, I have been handpicking vintage guitars for my customers for over 15 years now and they have all loved them. This one will not be an exception.
Thanks for checking out my cool vintage guitars...
