You will probably never find one of these in this condition for sale...ever
I would consider trades however SERIOUS inquirers only!
Looking for:
-Any of the vintage Roland Jupiter synths (4,6,8, MKS80 etc)
-oberheim (xpander, obxa etc)
-the Midi EVI
-Moog Voyager/Model D
Probably the first and only Nyle Steiner AKAI EVI1000 to list on reverb. If you're viewing this you probably know what it is. This is the next-to-impossible to find EVI 1000 trumpet style wind synthesizer. Very few were produced in 1987 and were quickly discontinued. Any model EVI is incredibly hard to find nowadays. Designed by Nyle Steiner in the early 70s. This is a very unique instrument and continues to boggle minds and is a great conversation piece.
These are ULTRA RARE!!!!
This one works flawlessly. No issues whatsoever everything is tested.
Condition wise the only thing to mention is minor cosmetic stuff on the EWV2000 Module on the front surface there's a scratch. The Horn has very minor scuffs but is in great shape. The horn has a rebuilt breath sensor, which means it will last a very long time and has better response than the original breath sensor. The case is in "good" condition looks good on the outside but the inside is a little worn out. But it serves its purpose.
This is a fully analog synthesizer with DCO's like most 80s synths. The sounds are out of this world.
This was designed for trumpet players who want to dabble with synthesizers. The technique isn't hard to learn if you understand how to play trumpet. There are videos explaining how.
This one includes a case, a rebuilt solid state breath sensor by Patchman music and original paperwork as well as a rare AKAI catalog from 1987 (see photos)
I have the manual for the EWV2000 module but not the actual horn itself, theres PDF files online if necessary. The module is rated for 120V (US mains)
If you have questions feel free to ask I know a decent amount about these.
If purchased the most important thing is to be sure you take Extreme care of the precious EVI cable since they are no longer available!
Please no lowball offers but they are welcome. International buyers please inquire but remember this cannot be used in other countries unless you use a different module or voltage converter.
