1966 Gibson Melody Maker D - SG -- Red
Up for grabs is a real nice 1966 Melody Maker two pickup model in Fire Engine Red. The serial # is almost unreadable but the electronics are untouched . I think it is ( 800314 ) The pots read ( CBA - 811- 1053 - 500k AT 1376607 ) which date the guitar 1966. The original owner told me there have never been any breaks or repairs but the back of the headstock was refinished because of cracking finish. Very nice job but messed up the serial #. The Whammy bar and the base are missing. Hard shell Fender case is included in good shape. The guitar fits real well in it.
