You're looking at a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Tribute in Goldtop finish. Excellent cosmetic and playing condition. This is the Tribute that is hard to find and everyone wants with the dual soapbar creme covered P90s. It also has the well-known 60s Slim Taper neck profile. These satin finish Tribute models have a thin nitrocellulose finish that won't choke your tone.
Some other nice details: large neck inlays, and aged plastics with gold knobs. Weight is a very light 7 pounds, 2 ounces--probably the lightest Tribute I've sold yet. Cosmetically, it's slowly growing into a nice relic. You can see the mild wearing away of the finish on the edges that looks super cool, as well as some cool relic looking wear around the rear electronics cover. Frets are in great condition. No case. Get this before it's gone. I do a full detail and setup on all guitars. (Info on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.
What You Get
-- Full setup, cleaning, and new strings.
-- 30-day return policy.
-- Ship within 1 business day--pro packing.
Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

Two P-90 pickups for vintage tone
The P-90 pickup produces a clean, bell-like tone that gets crunchy when you really lean into it. You'll love the punchy midrange and solid low end that sets P-90s apart from typical single-coil pickups. Many of the Beatles' biggest hits were recorded using P-90 equipped guitars. But the coolest thing about the P-90 pickup is that once you roll off the highs, you can still get the smoky tones we normally associate with humbuckers.
Plek'd for precision playability This Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute 2016 T feels fast and precise, thanks in large part to Plek processing. Typically reserved for top-dollar custom guitars, this process levels the frets with pinpoint precision, providing you with the most playable fretboard you're likely to own. Each note rings loud and clear, and the fret edges feel smooth as silk.
