Smooth and creamy compression. The milkbox is the best compressor I've used. (Beats the mxr studio comp, cs 2 and Cali 76. Can be subtle or extreme.. Has a tone control to add/ remove high end. White l.e.d... Took my cs 2 off the board because this could do the cs 2 thing and was a bit more versatile. I have 2 now, 1 for my guitar and bass board but I'm slimming down the collection a lot and selling my bass board. Cheers

DOD Milk Box Compressor FX84 White 1990s

The Milk Box Compressor has a nice, rich sustain and makes the tone that much sweeter. Among its normal compression controls, it also features a touch-sensitive high-cut knob. Older versions will have kitschy names for the high-cut, labeling it Pasteurization instead, but the function is the same.
