1998 Parker Fly Classic in the Transparent Cherry top finish - the back of the neck and body are strengthened and unified by a very thin layer of carbon/glass/epoxy composite and are finished in a metallic red. This "pre-refined" model features a solid one-piece Honduras mahogany body, basswood neck with carbon/glass fiber fretboard, Parker vibrato, Sperzel locking tuners, and stainless steel frets. Exceptionally lightweight with a huge tonal range. The electronics consist of DiMarzio humbuckers in the neck and bridge, piezo pickup saddles, master volume control, master tone control and 3-way selector switch for the humbuckers(middle position is for the 2 inside coils of the humbuckers), stacked/concentric master volume and tone controls for the piezo pickups, and a 3-way selector for piezo, piezo & humbucker, or just humbuckers. These earlier Fly models are exceptionally lightweight with a huge tonal range.
This 24 year old instrument is overall in very good condition with some pick scratching and a couple of significant dings - one on each horn(see the pics). There are also a few other tiny edge but otherwise in very nice shape. The hard to find vibrato bar is included as well and a extra spring. I will be on vacation from 7-17 to 7-23. I purchased during that time the guitar will ship as soon as I’m back.
