This is a Venezuelan Cuatro - a folk instrument of Venezuela. It was sold by Casa de Musical in Caracas Venezuela. It is like a ukulele but it uses different strings and it is tuned differently.
It appears handmade of all solid wood and it is very lightweight. It sounds great and it strums very loud. There is a glued up side crack on the treble side of the body.
My listings ship quickly, so when you are ready for a Latin American piece of folk art and a playable instrument, it will be in your hands within days.
