Campellone 2007 Deluxe Series Archtop Jazz Guitar

For your consideration is this beautiful 2007 M. Campellone Deluxe Series 17” archtop electric guitar, complete with the original Cedar Creek hard shell case. This fine hand-carved instrument was built by master luthier Mark Campellone. It features a Venetian cutaway body with hand graduated 3A spruce top, hand graduated 3A figured maple back with solid maple sides, multi-bound top, back, fingerboard and headstock, figured maple neck, ebony fingerboard with side dots and three-piece 'keystone' mother of pearl position markers, ebony bridge with full contact base, Deluxe Series peghead inlay, Deluxe Series tailpiece of gold plated brass with ebony appliqué, gold Grover tuners with keystone buttons, and a Kent Armstrong floating pickup.  Nut width is 1 11/16" and the fret scale is 25 1/2". Body depth is 3.25". The truss rod works exactly as it should. As Deluxe models previously came with only a volume control, an exact matching tone control was professionally installed a few years ago by a reputable, local guitar tech with components supplied by Mark Campellone and under Mark’s advisement. This upgrade gives this guitar even more tonal variations and color at your fingertips. It should be noted that Mark now puts a tone control on Deluxe models (with a pickup).

This particular example is in excellent condition and sounds as beautiful as it looks. Acoustically it is rich and warm. When amplified it is warm and full while maintaining the acoustic integrity. The frets are in excellent shape - it plays fluidly and is gig ready. This guitar is completely original except for the aforementioned tone control upgrade. There are absolutely no breaks, cracks, repairs or over sprays of any kind.
