For sale is a 1990 guild d-15m acoustic guitar. This guitar was made at the Westerly, Rhode Island factory. This guitar has solid mahogany front and sides and an arched back made of mahogany plies (same construction as most arched top guitars). This guitar has a lacquer finish which has some checking that has begun. The mahogany body and rosewood fretboard give this guitar a classic look. The neck is a bit in the bigger side (larger than my Martin d15 neck but not as chunky as an R8 gibson les paul I’ve played. Every guild neck was handmade leading to variation in size from one to the neck. The guitar has an excellent bass tone and projection, but it isn’t muddy. This guitar comes with the case pictured.
