The Evans Onyx snare/tom drumhead combines two 7.5mil plies of black film that give you amazing durability while punching your drums through the mix in live performance. A frost coating gives Onyx heads a matte black appearance and increases attack and low-end response. Evans has been in the music industry for over 40 years. They pioneered the plastic drum head in 1956 changing the drum world forever.
