Here is a french vintage manouche guitar.
It is unbranded but bears all the characteristics of the guitars produced in the 50s and 60s by french Sicilian luthiers like Di Mauro, Castelluccia, Busato, (and others) on commission for various music retailers in Paris like Paul Beuscher. This one looks very much like another one bearing the Di Mauro engraving (see pictures in this listing). I also added a few pictures of similar examples with the Paul Beuscher label still shown.
With many of the gypsy jazz guitars of that era, it is difficult to pin point them for sure to a specific luthier but i'm pretty convinced we're dealing with Di Mauro here.
Anyway, the guitar has no sign of cracks or repairs. Only superficial finish marks and overall very good condition.
The action is good at 3mm.
I am not sure if the tuners or bridge are original but i would bet the the bridge at least is.
It has 12 frets to the body.
This is a great opportunity to get into the vintage gypsy jazz sound and feel at a fraction of the cost of the more high end signed guitars built by the same luthiers shops.
I ship worldwide.
