This is the Boss DS1 Electric Guitar Distortion Pedal, Owned by Steve Vai.
This Boss was part of Vai's childhood home practice rig, so Steve could practice and write when he was on Long Island visiting family.
As you can see in the email, Steve told his nephew where in the house to find his bag of pedals, so this has been not only used extensively by Vai himself, but has been soaking up that Vai house mojo for over a decade.
Outside of the fantastic lineage, this is a great classic pedal on its own.
Perfect for pushing the front end of your tube amp into sweet sustain or for use as a standalone distortion.
This DS-1 is in very good condition as you can see in pictures, all wear is from Steve Vai himself.
