This 1960s Conrad Bison is in excellent vintage cosmetic condition showing some signs of play wear throughout including some body dings around the edges of the body (primarily on the back lower bout), and the corner of the pickguard is chipped (see photos). Otherwise this instrument is very tidy. The bolt on maple neck is straight and has a nice thin yet rounded profile. The frets are in very good condition and have lots of life left in them. This instrument has been set up and it plays great up and down the fingerboard with low action. This particular guitar is one of the best playing examples of these 1960s Made in Japan electric instruments that I’ve come across. All of the electronics are in good working order, have been cleaned and operate without excess noise. This Bison is missing its tremolo arm. If you are hunting for a really cool, quirky vintage electric guitar that plays and sounds great, then this Conrad may be what you're after!
