This John Price guitar is a top class concert instrument! It meets the most professional musical demands and holds its own in ensemble playing as well as a soloist instrument.

John Price is considered one of the most important guitar builders in Australia after Greg Smallman. Thus, the guitar presented here was also built with the lattice bracing developed by Smallman, a diagonally arranged reinforcement bracing of the top. This makes the Price guitar the loudest concert guitar in our current range, because the lattice bracing, which in this case is also reinforced with carbon, allows the top to be made extremely thin.

At the same time, this top construction is extremely light, stable and very flexible in the desired directions.

The guitar comes up with a very modern classical guitar tone, which makes it musically versatile.
A very easy response, a rich, warm-creamy tone and an extremely easy playability characterize this master guitar. Complementing the super-light top, the rest of the body is very solidly built. The back, on the other hand, does not need any bracing at all, as it is molded of several veneer layers and recurved like an archtop.

Thanks to the split bridge inlay and compensated top nut, the John Price intonates extremely precisely. An armrest relieves the right forearm when playing.

Other important features are the double string holes in the bridge, the high-end tuners by Nicolo Alessi and the elevated fingerboard above the top.

The guitar has one previous owner who received it new from the builder and had two strap buttons installed. After accidental damage, cracks in the top were professionally repaired and the top was then completely refinished. Despite the repair, the guitar has fully retained its tonal qualities is in technically perfect condition.
