This guitar is in excellent condition it’s sat in its case the entire time before I purchased it (2nd owner) in New Orleans doing a project down there with Boots Riley for his new album/ soundtrack for Amazon Prime show “I’m a Virgo” … The guitar has no scratches, mint condition …no issues what so ever, has flat wounds on it has all the case candy and the key to the case as well as the COA and the tags here’s the web info:

The Gibson Memphis 1952 ES-295 hollowbody electric guitar is a sumptuous reissue of the instrument that launched rock 'n' roll. That's right: Scotty Moore, Elvis's lead guitarist, played one, as did many other axemen of the era. Gibson's Custom Shop luthiers spec'd this gorgeous archtop with historically correct features, including a Bullion Gold nitrocellulose finish, cream-covered Memphis P-90 pickups, tulip button Kluson tuners, and a vintage-style Bail tailpiece. Even the top bracing and rim lining are period-correct. Grab your slice of music history: the Gibson Memphis 1952 ES-295.

Your chance to own a 6-string legend
Gibson launched the ES-295 in 1952 as an upgrade to the company's ES-175. Sporting a Les-Paul-like Bullion Gold finish, a floral pickguard, and two P-90 single-coil pickups that provided a wide range of tone, the guitar was immediately embraced by jazz guitarists, no surprise there, but also quite a few pickers in the nascent genre of rock 'n' roll, including Scotty Moore, Elvis Presley's axeman. Toward the end of 1957, Gibson replaced the P-90s with their new humbucking pickups and ultimately discontinued the ES-295 in 1958, around the same time they retired their Gold Top Les Paul. The Gibson Memphis 1952 ES-295 brings back the legendary '295 in meticulous, historically correct detail, for your playing (and viewing) pleasure.

Nitrocellulose lacquer finish
The Gibson Memphis ES-295 wears a gorgeous nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Nitro finishes (standard back in the day) are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to breathe. Nitro finishes not only look authentically vintage; they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities.

Gibson Custom's commitment to quality
Gibson's Custom Shop took extra care with every detail of the ES-295. Every Gibson Custom guitar receives an ultra-precise Plek Pro setup, which optimizes the fretboard and nut for incredibly accurate intonation and a just-right feel. And fine touches such as the Memphis P-90 pickups and Bail tailpiece not only add to the amazing tone and feel, they remain true to Gibson's legacy of superb quality.
