I was fortunate to get my hands on several of these wonderful instruments new in the original box. The company touts them as playable right out of the box. Well like most all guitars these require some setup which they will get before they are released. I set up all my guitars for easy play so all players, from beginner to advanced can enjoy hours of playing enjoyment without discomfort. When you pick up your guitar you will have the opportunity to sit and play it first to insure it has the sound and feel you want. Because I'm pricing them so low my prices are firm. Semi-hollow guitars are used in every genre from Rock, to Blues, to Jazz. They are essentially the first successful hybrid of acoustic and solid body electric guitar designs. The hollowed-out body lends an airy quality to it, much like an , while maintaining a low amount of feedback (due to the internal wooden block) like a solid body electric.

While full hollow body guitars failed to be useful at high volumes due to the squealing feedback they caused, the 335-style guitar has much lower amount of feedback and could be used in larger live settings.
