I'm selling my collection of mid 80's strats and other items, pro audio, parts, Etc.
I really loved this one was special to me, It was all USA Super 5 way CTS pots, numbered Atomic Fender Humbucker and two USA single pickups.. 7.54 ohms on the neck and 7.4 in the middle..
The original pickguard got rad so I got a brand new USA made HSS config 4 ply pickguard, you can still see the plastic around the screws..
The neck is perfect Fender System One blackie with original locking nut with all the original plates top and bottom.. The Fender System One bridge is in really awesome shape.. and everything works as it should.. it was well cared for.. But played.
The back has your normal buckle rash for it's age as well as chrome back plate..I got a new back plate as well from a friend who deals in Sys one parts..
My Luthier does excellent setups and he set this one up really fine to my liking.. I don't like the strings sitting on the neck, but there is plenty of room to lower the action with the micro tilt.. believe me you won't need to, she plays like a dream.. The pictures show condition, there are some small marks which is expected but nothing bad.. Excellent shape for a Vintage floating locking trem bridge.. The neck is flawless, including the Frets with no ware. I added pictures of the Frets bare for your inspection..
