Eico 1078 Variable Power Supply (Variac) in Excellent Condition

    Eico 1078 variable power supply. One of the rare Variac (or Powerstat) pieces of equipment that has both an ammeter and voltmeter. Has 2 switchable current settings: 2.5 amp and 8 amp; each with its own separate fuse. All in excellent working order. Has a newer 7-1/2' safety grounded power cord & new feet for stable operation & workbench stability. Spans 0 to 140 volts with NO dead spots.

     Ideal unit to bring voltage up slowly on that garage sale or flea market find to reform capacitors. Or calibrating a multitude of equipment including tube testers.
Small (6"x7") workbench footprint to save on valuable repair bench real estate. Eliminates the need for a dim bulb tester.
