Alvarez Dana 90s Sunburst Electric Guitar w/ HSC

Very interesting guitar with the Triforce "triplebucker" pickup. Identification has been a little unusual as it's very close to a particular Dana II model, but distinctly notes "Alvarez Dana" and the (nicer in my opinion) 3x3 headstock. was able to locate a previous sold one that was virtually identical barring the pickguard (more on that in a second) so I think it's safe to assume this is a Dana I non-scoop and not a Dana II with a Dana I neck. But if anyone has any old catalog scans with more information on this guitar, I'd love to see them for a reference for listing as accurately as possible.

The big elephant in the room here is the pickguard, and while it hasnt been removed while in our possession, it does outwardly appear that the original clear pickguard was painted over and I imagine if done carefully the paint could be removed and made original.

There are also some electronics concerns to note. The switch and volume knob are particularly scratchy and dirty. We have intentions of taking some deoxit to the pots and switch. The output jack is a little bit tricky as well as it was functional in testing but did go in and out when the cable was tweaked. As of this writing there we have not taken a look at the jack wiring so it's distinctly possible there's simply a poor connection at the jack.

There is also some damage near the jack on the rear side of the body leaving exposed wood and some cracked finish, so please keep that in mind as well.

Has some scratches and buckle rash as well as the guitar has definitely been played. It's not slated for any setup work at this time, so if you have any specific questions in that regard please ask.

Metal hardware has some visible oxidation and minor pitting but no functional issues to note.

The Alvarez hardshell case is included, and does have a little bit of wear and some minor outer damage on the sides (around the metal side feet, and they all can be moved when pushed on.) as pictured  Please be aware of all conditional issues prior to offers.
